Self-sustainable smart house powered by solar and wind

Ecocapsule is a self-sustainable smart house powered solely by solar and wind energy. The Slovakian design allows you to live off-the-grid, with the luxury of a small hotel room.

Thanks to a built-in wind turbine, roof-mounted solar panels, and a high-capacity battery to store the energy, there's no reason to connect it to the grid. An intelligently designed rain collection system works with built-in water filters to provides the most important thing for life: Water.

Despite its small size, it can still hold two adults comfortably, with a folding bed, kitchenette, and even a toilet and shower.

At around A$120 000 ain't cheap, but offers an interesting view on independent housing. We love that the ecocapsule has been engineered from scratch to be as self-sufficient, practical and functional as possible.
