After searching tirelessly for a project management tool, we finally settled on Trello. The Trello platform expedites collaboration, and is especially useful for remote employees to understand the progress of the current tasks without having to send out emails, DM’s and bother the rest of the team.

For when the team does need to communicate – we decided that Slack was the best option. The back-channel chat functionality is conducive to an early-stage environment with the multi-chat functions allowing communication to easily take place with the relevant team members.

MailChimp is an email marketing platform that we found to be the best suited to our particular purpose. The features are intuitive and effortless with their split-testing and list segmentation allowing easy differentiation between customers.

Help Scout smoothens the task of customer communication and provides operation reviews for quick, impactful insight into the performance of your customer service team. Help Scout has been pivotal in the direction that Mountain Active has taken.
